If you have been scrolling through social media lately, you have probably seen the aggressive marketing for a system that promises easy money online.
The domain we are reviewing today is aiconnect.ph.
So, what exactly is AI Connect? Promoters are claiming that it is a high-tech "automated dropshipping system" powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
According to their presentations, the company combines four major industries into one single platform: franchising, branding, distribution, and e-commerce.
But the big question remains: Is this actually a legit AI e-commerce business, or is it just another system designed to empty your pockets?
Let’s break it down by comparing real dropshipping with the AIConnect business model.
1. Product and Business Control: Real Dropshipping vs. AI Connect
In a true dropshipping business, you are the boss.
You build your own open-market storefront and curate trending products from global suppliers all over the world.
In AI Connect:
- You do not have the freedom to choose your products; you are locked into selling their proprietary "Love Thy Health" dietary supplement gummies.
- The product variants are strictly limited to Barley Gummies, Collagen Glutathione Gummies, Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies, and Berberine Gummies.
- Because you are restricted to their closed-loop catalog, you are basically acting as a commissioned sales agent for their network, not an independent e-commerce store owner.
2. Puhunan (Investment) and Starting Up
When you start a real dropshipping business, you don't need to buy physical inventory upfront.
You usually just pay a flat, predictable monthly fee for your website hosting platform (like Shopify).
In AI Connect:
- You are forced to buy expensive "Star Packages" to participate in the business.
- The entry-level "AiNetwork Package" starts at around ₱2,000 to ₱2,150.
- The premium packages scale up massively: 1-Star (₱10,500), 2-Star (₱31,500), 3-Star (₱73,400), 4-Star (₱157,200), and the 5-Star Package at a staggering ₱324,900.
3. Ways of Earning: Selling vs. Recruiting
In authentic dropshipping, 100% of your profit comes from retail sales to actual end-consumers.
In AI Connect, there are two main ways to earn:
- Direct Retail Profit: You can sell the gummies at a Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of ₱997 per bottle. Depending on your package, you get a discount ranging from 40% (1-Star) up to 65% (5-Star).
- Match Sales Income (Recruitment): This is the real engine of the business. You are required to build a "left leg" and a "right leg" of recruits. When you match points between these two legs, you earn a bonus. For example, a 250-point match yields ₱500, while a 10850-point match (from two 5-Star recruits) yields a massive ₱21,700 payout.
4. The Maximum Income Limit (The Withholding Trap)
Here is a very crucial detail that many promoters hide.
Let’s say you only bought the base tier (AiNetwork Package), but you successfully recruited two people who bought the 5-Star package (one on the left, one on the right).
Technically, you should earn the ₱21,700 matching bonus.
However, because you are on the base tier, your account is slapped with a Maximum Weekly Income cap of only ₱5,000, and a monthly cap of ₱20,000.
- Does the remaining ₱16,700 roll over to the next week? NO. The system flushes out or withholds those excess earnings to prevent the company from overpaying.
- Forced Upgrades: To access the money generated by your downlines, the company essentially forces you to spend more capital to upgrade to higher-tier packages. The only way to get an "infinite" limit is to purchase the ₱324,900 5-Star Package.
5. The "Free" Franchise Trap
To make the ₱324,900 5-Star Package look like a steal, AI Connect throws in a "FREE AIConnect Franchise" called Connect Over Coffee. But let's look at the reality of this "free" offline business:
- Is the franchisee paying for the rent and commercial space? YES. Securing commercial real estate is entirely your financial responsibility[cite: 1, 3].
- Are the equipment, carts, booths, or coffee machines included? NO. You have to buy your own commercial-grade espresso machinery and build out the physical store[cite: 1, 3].
- Who pays for the business permits and licenses? The franchisee handles and pays for all of this.
- What about staff salaries and raw materials? You are completely responsible for hiring staff, paying their salaries, and maintaining the supply chain of perishable goods[cite: 1, 3].
- So, what is actually "LIBRE"? The only things given for free are the franchise processing fee, the elimination of monthly royalty fees, the right to use the brand name/logo, and the operational training[cite: 1, 3]. Basically, they just give you the branding, but you still need millions of pesos to physically build and operate the coffee shop.
AI Connect Business Presentation:
Detailed Pros, Cons, and Red Flags
The Pros (Advantages or Promised Benefits):
- No Logistics Hassle: The company itself handles the packing and delivery of the products to your customers using their courier partners like J&T, so you don't need to hold any physical inventory[cite: 1, 2, 3].
- Free Shipping: They offer free shipping nationwide for members who avail of the higher packages.
- Flexibility: The business can run 24/7, and you can operate it using just your cellphone or laptop wherever you are in the Philippines.
- Free Training: The company provides free tutorials for Facebook ads, content creation, and marketing materials so new members won't have a hard time offering the products.
- Physical Presence and Insurance: They have an actual physical office located at the Lancaster Hotel Manila, which boosts the trust of those joining. They also provide a 1-year accident insurance worth ₱50,000 included in the entry package.
The Cons (Disadvantages and Shortcomings):
- Huge Capital Required: The capital needed to seriously earn is extremely expensive. The "Star Packages" start at ₱10,500 (1-Star) and go all the way up to a massive ₱324,900 (5-Star)[cite: 1, 2].
- Massive "Value Discrepancy": The money you pay to join is way higher than the value of the products you receive. For example, if you buy the 5-Star Package worth ₱324,900, the maximum value of the gummies given to you is only ₱217,000—meaning, you instantly have a loss of ₱107,900 right from the start. This excess money is used by the company to pay the commissions of the upline who recruited you.
- Over-priced Products: ₱997 per bottle for ordinary gummies is too expensive and hard to sell fairly, especially since the market (like Shopee, Lazada, and Watsons) is already packed with legitimate and cheaper FDA-approved supplements.
- Income Caps: There is a limitation or a "Maximum Weekly Income" cap if you are only on a lower package (for example, only ₱10,000 per week for a 1-Star)[cite: 1, 2]. If the recruits of your downline grow but you are still on a low tier, the system will withhold or stop giving your excess bonuses, forcing you to spend again and upgrade to a more expensive package just to get your money.
The Red Flags (Warnings):
- Fake "Dropshipping" Label: In real e-commerce dropshipping, you have control over your store, and you can source any product from different suppliers globally without worrying about left and right "legs" or "uplines". In AIConnect, you are locked into their own products, which removes your freedom as a real entrepreneur and just turns you into an MLM agent.
- Heavily Focused on Recruitment: To recover the massive amount of money you put in, the fastest way is to recruit others instead of selling gummies. This is very obvious in their registration links that dictate which leg (left or right) a recruit will be placed.
- Bait and Switch Investment: To lure people in, they heavily promote online that you only need ₱2,150 to start. But this is just a trap or a "loss-leader" to get victims into the system, where they will then experience intense pressure to upgrade to Star Packages reaching hundreds of thousands just to earn properly.
- Hidden Costs in the "Free" Franchise: They claim that the ₱324,900 package includes a "free" and "turnkey" coffee shop franchise (Connect Over Coffee). But the company doesn't tell you that the member will still be the one to spend millions to build the physical store, buy commercial machinery, pay rent, and secure licenses[cite: 1, 3]. They just used this as a shiny decoration to make the ₱324,900 look worth it.
- Website is purely for Recruiting: If you type the domain
aiconnect.ph, it will not bring you to a consumer-facing online store where you can order products. It redirects you straight to an affiliate sign-up portal. This proves that their main business is acquiring new distributors, not selling to ordinary retail consumers (B2C).
Conclusion: My Final Verdict
Technically, AI Connect might operate legally because there is a physical exchange of goods (the gummies) and they maintain a physical office.
But if you ask me if this is a legitimate dropshipping business? Absolutely not.
This system thrives on misrepresentation.
They heavily use buzzwords like "AI," "e-commerce," and "automated dropshipping" as a shiny marketing facade to hide the fact that this is a High-Ticket Binary Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) structure.
When a business model misleads you about what it actually is just to extract massive onboarding fees and funnel capital upwards to the top of the pyramid, it is highly deceptive.
I cannot and will not recommend this to anyone looking for a genuine, sustainable online business.
Save your hard-earned money and look into building a true, independent e-commerce store where you are the actual boss.
