Educational Background:

I got into Electrical Engineering because I was always fascinated by how things work, especially when it came to electrical systems. It just felt like the right path for me, and I put my heart into it, reaching the 5th year, first semester. I even completed courses in electrical design, thesis, and all the major subjects. But life had other plans. Financial problems and the weight of depression forced me to make one of the hardest decisions of my life—I had to drop out. Watching my dreams slip away like that was tough, to say the least. But instead of letting it break me, I turned that setback into fuel to keep moving forward. It taught me that if you’re determined and willing to push through the challenges, you can find new paths and even better opportunities you never imagined

Professional Background:

After earning my license as a Registered Master Electrician (RME) in 2012—you can check the list of passers here—I spent three years working as an Industrial Food Equipment Technician. In that role, I demonstrated units, conducted pre-release checks, serviced equipment for checkups and repairs, and made sure everything was fixed properly. Following that, I worked as a Building Maintenance Electrician for another three years, where I ensured that all electrical systems in the building were functioning smoothly and without any issues. Each job had its own challenges, but they taught me the importance of hard work and dedication in any field."

Key Achievements:

In 2017, I decided to start my own YouTube channel, "Neil Yanto," where I review MLM schemes, make money apps and websites, investment frauds, crypto scams, and various business opportunities. I also cover topics like mobile apps, cryptocurrency, prospecting, selling, and motivational content.

Today, the channel has over 112,000 subscribers and continues to grow. What started as a passion project quickly became a trusted source of information for many. Hearing success stories and positive feedback from viewers who avoided scams or found good opportunities because of my content inspires me to keep going. This channel isn’t just a platform for me—it's a community where I can make a real impact in people’s lives.

Entrepreneurial Journey

2014: So back in 2014, a friend introduced me to network marketing. At first, I was really excited because it seemed like a great way to start a business. But as I got deeper into it, I realized that there was a lack of proper training and support. This led to significant losses and a lot of wasted time. It was a tough pill to swallow, but it taught me some important lessons about the importance of research and preparation in any business venture.
2015: After my experience with network marketing, I stumbled upon affiliate marketing. I decided to give it a shot and joined as an affiliate for Lazada and Amazon. At that time, affiliate marketing was still relatively unknown, so there wasn’t much competition. I jumped in, learned how to drive traffic, and convert sales. It was a game-changer for me because it showed me the power of being ahead of the curve and finding innovative ways to earn.
2016: By 2016, I decided to start my own blog, neilyanto.com. I wanted to share what I had learned over the years and help others avoid some of the mistakes I made. Writing content allowed me to connect with people on a more personal level. It was fulfilling to see the growing readership and receive positive feedback from readers who found my advice helpful.
2017: After a year of blogging, I decided to try something new—I started making videos for YouTube. This was a big shift for me, but I thought it would be a great way to reach a wider audience. My YouTube channel, "Neil Yanto," quickly became a platform where I could share reviews, give advice, and inspire others, especially when it came to navigating the confusing world of online income opportunities.
2018: In 2018, I decided to jump into the eCommerce world. It was a booming time for online businesses, and I was eager to get in on the action. I launched an eCommerce website, but unfortunately, I didn’t have enough funds to keep up with supply and storage costs. Eventually, I had to shut down the site. It was a tough experience, but I learned a lot about the importance of financial planning and inventory management.
2019: The following year, I tried starting an eServices platform. My idea was to create a hub for various digital services, but there just wasn’t enough demand for what I was offering at the time. It was disappointing to see the lack of interest, but it also made me realize the importance of timing and understanding the market before launching a new venture.
2020: In 2020, I ventured into dropshipping and also started a clothing business. However, the pandemic hit hard, and my supplier had to shut down operations, which forced me to close the dropshipping business in May 2021. It was a challenging time, but it taught me about resilience and the need to adapt quickly in the face of unexpected obstacles.
2021: With the rise of online learning due to the pandemic in 2021, I saw an opportunity and launched an eLearning platform called eskulahan.com. It was designed to be a comprehensive learning hub offering digital products like online courses and on-demand videos. Unfortunately, due to licensing issues and a shortage of instructors, I had to make the tough decision to shut down the platform in 2023. This experience highlighted the importance of compliance and having a solid plan in place before launching a new business.
2021: Toward the last quarter of 2021, I started getting into personal copy-trading. It was something I had been interested in for a while, and I finally decided to dive in and test out some strategies.
2022: As my experience in copy-trading grew, I noticed that my subscribers were interested in following my trades. In response to their demand, I decided to make my copy-trading strategies public. This was a big step for me because it turned my personal trading into something that could benefit a wider community.
2023: I decided to push further into the trading world and launched my first version of a copy-trading bot. It wasn’t perfect, and there were definitely some bumps along the way with version 1. But these challenges were a great learning experience and showed me where improvements were needed.
2024: After refining the initial bot and incorporating all the feedback and lessons learned, I recoded the bot in March and launched version 2 of the copy-trading bot in April. This new version has been running smoothly and continues to work effectively up to now, helping traders achieve consistent success. This journey really taught me the value of perseverance, adapting to changes, and continuously improving based on experiences.

Growth Story

Solo Endeavors:

As a solopreneur, one of the toughest challenges I faced was finding the money and resources to get my projects off the ground. It wasn’t easy doing everything on my own, but I’ve managed to build my business by making the most of the tools available to me. These days, I use AI tools to handle a lot of tasks, like writing emails, automating business processes, and even running ads.

Being a solopreneur has its ups and downs. The financial struggle was real, and it pushed me to come up with creative ways to fund my ideas. But now, thanks to AI, I can manage every part of my business—from emails to workflows to advertising—all on my own. These tools have been game-changers, letting me focus more on growing and innovating. Every success I’ve had so far is proof that with hard work and smart use of technology, you can achieve a lot.
